And vocalist, Andréana Cortés, whose strong, soulful, and passionate voice echoes melodies of the ancient Moors, influences of the Sephardic Jews, and of the Spanish Gypsies.
Maestro René Heredia is a direct descendant of the gitano flamenco puro tradition as passed down to him by generations of his gypsy family and the many talented family friends who shared their knowledge around the Heredia kitchen table. Maestro Heredia has performed with the greatest flamenco artists of his time including Carlos Montoya, Carmen Amaya, Sabicas, José Greco, Paco de Lucia, and many others.
Maestro Pablo has toured internationally as soloist along side some of the best flamenco artists in the world. Artists like Antonio Gades, (Carlos Saura films) Antonio Ruiz, and Alberto Lorca.
He has also performed as soloist with Rafael De Córdoba Company. Toured as soloist with Maria Benitez, José Molina, José Greco, and much more.
He has created choreography for Maria Benitez, and produced, directed, and choreographed countless performances such as El Pintor” by Teresa Cardenas presented at the Santa Fe Lodges fro Andriana Maresma-Fois, and Rodartes Dance España production of “Navidad Flamenca.”
The Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the pure Spanish gypsy and Andalusian art of flamenco.
