Just Announced! Special Guest Artist Katerina Albertini Voulgari will be performing with René Heredia and the Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre. Katerina is a professional dancer, choreographer, and instructor in Athens, Greece. She brings her artistry to Denver for one night only!
The audience will be carried away to the caves of the Sacromonte in Spain for an evening of sensuous flamenco dancing accompanied by gypsy guitar magic.
Comprised of Denver’s best dancers and award-winning guitarist, Artistic Director, and “Godfather of Flamenco” Maestro René Heredia, their performances convey the mystery, emotion and soul of authentic gypsy flamenco.

Special guest dancer and master teacher, Katerina Albertini Voulgari, from Athens, Greece, will join Rene and his company dancers to perform solo numbers that showcase her extensive knowledge of flamenco palos (forms) including Soleares, Farruca, and Seguiriyas. Katerina has studied with some of the world’s best flamenco dancers in Spain. Since 2006, Katerina has had her own flamenco school and studio in Athens, Greece. About Maestro Heredia
Maestro René Heredia is from Granada, Spain and is a direct descendant of the gitano flamenco puro tradition as passed down to him by generations of his gypsy family.
He has performed with the greatest flamenco artists of his time including Carlos Montoya, Carmen Amaya, Sabicas, José Greco, Paco de Lucia, and many others.
As a performer, teacher, choreographer, mentor, and recording artist, Maestro Heredia is credited with bringing flamenco to Colorado and has received numerous awards, including the Governor’s and Mayor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts.
