René Heredia and his Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre bring the heart and soul of Spanish gypsy flamenco to the stage, complete with colorful costumes, fans, castanets, stomping feet and fiery passion.

Gypsy Flamenco Fire will magically transport you to the Sacromonte in Granada where you will be enthralled by traditional gypsy dancers delighting you with graceful arm movements, syncopated hand-clapping and rhythmic, pounding footwork — all while listening to the intricate strumming of a flamenco guitar master.

Comprised of Denver’s best dancers and award-winning guitarist, Artistic Director, and “Godfather of Flamenco” Maestro René Heredia, their performances convey the mystery, emotion and soul of authentic gypsy flamenco. Gypsy Flamenco Fire is guaranteed to set your soul on fire!

Maestro René Heredia is from Granada, Spain and is a direct descendant of the gitano flamenco puro tradition as passed down to him by generations of his gypsy family.

He has performed with the greatest flamenco artists of his time including Carlos Montoya, Carmen Amaya, Sabicas, José Greco, Paco de Lucia, and many others.

The Flamenco Fantasy Dance Theatre is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the pure Spanish gypsy and Andalusian art of flamenco.
